History

WaterEngineers, Inc first opened for business in 1978 under the name of Ray Young & Associates, Consulting Engineers.  Initially the firm provided specialty wastewater treatment plant design services to civil engineering firms and through the years about half of WaterEngineers’ work has been to support other engineering firms.

By serving many municipalities and utility districts as a subcontractor to other engineers, WaterEngineers became known as an “engineer’s engineer.”  The company name reflects the special expertise of the firm and its commitment to the municipal water supply and wastewater treatment and reclamation fields.

WaterEngineers is a recognized provider of quality consulting engineering services for public and private utility clients, both directly with clients and in partnership with other engineering firms.  WaterEngineers is committed to providing quality services in the best interests of its clients at a fair cost and to providing its employees with the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.
